Publications and awards
We are proud of this
The fact that sustainability at Salm-Salm & Partner is not just an advertising slogan but a practiced reality is demonstrated by the independent confirmations of leading independent agencies. The awarding of all seals awarded to us is reviewed by their initiators once a year in an elaborate and strict process.
The seals are proof of our stringency and constant optimization in all processes that ensure sustainability in our products. This applies both to the use of exclusion criteria and to the application of high-quality best-in-class approaches.
Transparency and openness are important to us. Therefore, you will find all our reports on sustainability at Salm-Salm below. Fund-specific reports can also be found on the pages linked below for the respective individual funds.
Awards and initiatives

Awarded the Austrian Ecolabel

Awarded the Austrian Ecolabel
The Austrian Ecolabel was awarded by the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Infrastructure and Technology (BMK) for "Salm Sustainability Convertible / Salm Sustainable Equity Strategy" because in the selection of stocks and bonds not only economic but also ecological and social criteria are taken into account. The ecolabel ensures that these criteria and their implementation are suitable for selecting appropriate stocks and bonds. This has been verified by an independent body. The award of the eco-label does not represent an economic assessment and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the future performance of the financial product.

Awarded with the FNG seal

Awarded with the FNG seal
The FNG seal for sustainable investment funds was developed by the Forum Nachhaltige Geldanalgen (FNG) together with financial experts and civil society actors in a three-year exchange. One of the core tasks of the FNG is to further develop and continuously improve quality standards for sustainable investment products in order to ensure the quality of sustainable investments. The seal concept itself is also constantly being developed further together with an independent committee and thus adapted to the dynamics of the sustainable investment market as well as to new requirements.
The FNG seal at a glance:
- Quality assurance of sustainable investments
- Minimum requirements according to internationally recognized standards
- Reduced time and costs for investors and fund providers
- Verification by an independent auditor
- Promotion of the sustainable investment market
Our Salm Sustainability Convertible has been awarded the FNG seal every year since 2016, and two stars since 2019
The FNG seal is awarded annually. For more information, please click here.

Signatory of the UN PRI

Signatory of the UN PRI
The UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI) is an investor initiative in partnership with the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) Finance Initiative and the UN Global Compact. This initiative is brought to life by an international investor network that has created and aims to implement principles for sustainable and responsible investment. The signatories contribute to a more sustainable global financial system. The goal is to understand the implications of sustainability for investors and to help signatories incorporate these issues into their investment decision-making processes.

Signatory of the European Transparency Code

Signatory of the European Transparency Code
The "European Transparency Logo" has been available since May 2008 to help investors with orientation. Version 3.0 of the Transparency Code has been available since February 2013. To receive the logo, providers must submit detailed answers to numerous questions on core data and development of the fund, understanding of sustainability, investment criteria, research methods, external control, evaluation and use of information, exercise of voting rights and information policy towards investors.
The logo is only awarded for one year and may only be emblazoned on brochures or pages that exclusively present sustainable products. Among experts, this is considered a label of quality. The Forum Nachhaltige Geldanlagen (FNG) lists the funds with the transparency logo for German-speaking countries.
Around 350 sustainability funds have signed the code (as of mid-2013). But by no means all of them bear the transparency logo. Many funds avoid the effort and expense involved. The logo thus also separates the wheat from the chaff: conventional providers are jumping on the dynamic bandwagon of environmental and sustainability funds in droves, but some products are much less sustainable than proclaimed. Some reduce the broad sustainability concept to the exclusion of arms manufacturers, or the criteria are unclear. The effort to be transparent is avoided by many such providers.
Salm-Salm & Partner stands out here through complete transparency of the sustainability process. We proudly carry the transparency logo for our comprehensive and "real" sustainability approach for our funds Salm Sustainability Convertible and Nachhaltige Aktienrategie.
The European Transparency Logo for Sustainability Funds signifies Salm-Salm & Partner's commitment to providing accurate, appropriate and timely information to enable interested parties, especially clients, to understand the sustainable investment approaches and methods of the respective fund.
Detailed information about the European Transparency Code can be found at www.eurosif.org. Information on the sustainable investment policy and its implementation within the funds can be found under the respective fund pages, as well as the sustainability topic page on our website. The Transparency Code is managed by Eurosif, an independent organization.
The European SRI Transparency logo represents the fund manager's commitment as described above. It is not to be understood as an endorsement of any particular company, organization or individual.
